Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-priority, cross-functional programs across product, engineering, design, and data teams. You will translate strategy into executable plans, ship features reliably and on time, and define program KPIs to guide prioritization.

You'll drive the operating cadence, manage risks and dependencies, and work with engineering leadership on trade-offs around reliability and scalability. Prior fintech crypto experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading large technical programs in a high-growth consumer tech company.
• Proven ability to drive programs through ambiguity and tight timelines, with regulatory constraints.
• Technical fluency to engage with Staff+ engineers on architecture and trade-offs.
• Experience defining program KPIs and using data to guide prioritization across teams.
• Familiarity with trading, brokerage, payments, fintech, crypto, web3, or DeFi ecosystems.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from problem definition through launch and post-launch follow-up.
• Drive the operating cadence for programs (kickoffs, status reviews, dashboards, risk tracking) across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and business partners.
• Identify risks and cross-team dependencies, drive mitigations, and escalate decisions when needed.
• Partner with Engineering leads to evaluate trade-offs around reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Translate goals into executable program plans and define program-level KPIs to guide prioritization.
