Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead IT projects remotely across US regions from initiation to delivery and closure.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, budgets, and risks, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with Red Hat Services PM methodologies. The role requires strong communication skills, experience with Agile and traditional PM approaches, and the ability to work with diverse teams and customers across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of program and project management experience, preferably large, complex IT projects.
• Experience with project management and agile tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Proven track record from inception to closure with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Control project requirements, scope, and change management.
• Monitor and review project economics including budgets, staffing, resources and risk.
• Facilitate development of project control solutions for planning and tracking.
• Manage project forecasts and proposals, bids, contracts, estimates and schedules.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and report activities including subcontractor monitoring.
• Establish metrics for measuring key project criteria and report changes.
