Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager II for AI/ML Systems. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from inception to production, coordinating across engineering, product, and leadership teams.

You will own requirements, assess risks, manage schedules, and communicate tradeoffs to executives and engineers. The AI/Infrastructure team focuses on scalable AI models and hyperscale infrastructure for Google Cloud and users worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in ML/GPU Systems, infrastructure systems, and data center hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Drive system and solution development to deliver next-gen storage systems for Cloud, TI and AI/ML use cases.
  • Lead a cross-functional team spanning all levels to develop and deliver programs from inception to production.
  • Set the vision and direction for a program by outlining goals, evaluating projects, and defining governance standards.
  • Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, reviews, and consensus-building.
  • Engage with engineering directors and product leaders to streamline processes and enable execution.

US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Drive system and solution development to deliver next generation Storage systems for Cloud, TI and AI/ML use cases.
  • Lead a cross‑functional team, spanning all organizational levels and functional areas to develop and deliver programs from inception to production.
  • Set the vision and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and supervising multiple projects, organizing cross‑project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage OKRs, release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
