Job summary

Amazon Web Services Fintech seeks a Technical Program Manager III to own strategy and end-to-end delivery of large-scale financial data platforms, unifying revenue and usage reporting and accelerating month-end close.

You will coordinate nine or more engineering teams across four organizations, negotiate priorities, manage risk, and communicate progress to senior leadership with clear business context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the program strategy, delivery roadmap, and cross-organization execution for unified revenue and actuals programs, defining objectives and measurable success criteria that keep delivery aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive alignment across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Sales stakeholders by facilitating decisions, negotiating priorities, and making informed trade-offs between time, effort, and scope to deliver the highest-impact outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple engineering teams and manage dependencies, milestone tracking, user acceptance testing cycles, production parallel runs, and system cutovers for large-scale financial platform migrations.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively by reviewing system architectures, data pipeline designs, and cross-team dependencies, ensuring teams reduce exposure to failure modes around data quality, scalability, and auditability.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and trade-offs through concise written narratives and status updates to senior leadership, translating technical complexity into clear business context.
