This 6-month assignment involves leading complex software delivery, coordinating engineering, product, QA, and architecture teams, and delivering transparent status reporting to executives. Ideal candidates have extensive TPM experience in financial services software, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of improving delivery through metrics

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading technical software delivery programs in complex engineering environments.

• Proven ability to manage enterprise software delivery across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain accurate delivery reporting covering scope, risks, dependencies, readiness, and program health.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering to define initiatives before development.
• Work with architects, engineers, QA, and technical leaders to understand architecture, testing, debt, and release readiness.
• Clearly communicate program status to technical teams and executives.
• Identify delivery risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Improve software delivery by reducing work in progress and breaking large initiatives into increments.
• Track and analyze engineering performance metrics (Lead Time, Cycle Time, MTTR, Change Failure Rate).
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and support scalable delivery governance.
• Coach delivery teams on best practices to improve predictability, quality, and execution.
• Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, and leadership.

Our growing client is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who thrives in technically complex software environments and enjoys bringing structure, transparency, and discipline to software delivery. This role partners closely with engineering, product, architecture, QA, and executive stakeholders to improve delivery outcomes while maintaining credibility with highly technical teams.

Responsibilities include

• Track and analyze engineering performance metrics including Lead Time, Cycle Time, MTTR, and Change Failure Rate.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams while supporting scalable delivery governance.
• Coach delivery teams on best practices that improve predictability, quality, and execution.
• Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, and leadership teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading technical software delivery programs within complex engineering organizations.
• Strong technical foundation in Software Engineering, Architecture, QA, Systems Integration, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing enterprise software delivery across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile software delivery principles and Lean delivery practices.
• Experience improving engineering delivery using measurable software delivery metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable Agile planning tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining delivery focus.
• Calm, collaborative, and solutions-oriented leadership style.

Preferred Experience
