Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional software development initiatives from concept to market.

You will coordinate product, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-impact programs on time and within budget. In this role you will drive the full lifecycle of software and product development, manage complex programs, mentor team members, and communicate status to senior leaders using clear, standardized methods.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Experience navigating ambiguity, managing risks, and adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without direct authority.
• Change management and transformation processes experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle and product development process for various solutions.
• Manage complex, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to market including schedule and investment tracking.
• Drive cross-functional activities and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
• Apply technical knowledge and initiative to contribute actively in collaborative team discussions.
• Utilize clear written and verbal communication skills to foster trust and facilitate coordinated execution.
• Communicate program status and expectation changes to senior leaders using standardized methods.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and collaborative leadership to cross-functional team members.
