Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex programs across multiple teams from definition through execution.
  • Familiarity with PDTL, Engineering Execution Managers, or similar roles and ability to translate technical concepts for executives.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across organizations without direct authority, leveraging AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the program framework for Compute PE's AI initiatives, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across concurrent workstreams.
  • Build alignment among Compute PE, Design, Technology Development, DRAM/NAND units, and partner teams to keep workstreams on track.
  • Track initiative status, identify risks early, and resolve issues across boundaries.
  • Create clear reporting for senior leaders on portfolio health, progress, and key decisions.
  • Partner with PDTLs and engineering leaders to embed AI requirements into product roadmaps.
  • Identify coordination gaps and implement process improvements to accelerate initiatives.
  • Facilitate decision-making forums and maintain reliable information on program status.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and AI-augmented workflows to improve productivity in workflows, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the program framework for Compute PE's AI initiatives, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across concurrent workstreams.

  • Create clear reporting for senior leaders on portfolio health, progress, and key decisions.
  • Partner with Product Development Team Leads (PDTLs) and engineering leaders to incorporate AI requirements into product roadmaps.
  • Identify coordination gaps and implement process improvements to accelerate critical initiatives.
  • Facilitate decision-making forums, track commitments, and maintain a reliable source of information for program status.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and agentic solutions, such as Code Assist and Cloud Assist, to improve productivity in program workflows, reporting, and analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field, plus 8+ years in the semiconductor industry with strong understanding of memory/compute product development.
  • Experience leading complex, technical programs, involving multiple teams from definition through execution.
  • Deep familiarity with product engineering workflows — ideal backgrounds include PDTL, Engineering Execution Managers, or similar roles
  • Ability to synthesize technical complexity into clear executive communication
  • Demonstrated success achieving results through collaboration across organizations without direct authority, with proficiency using AI enabled tools and AI-augmented workflows, including Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted approaches.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Product engineering leadership experience (PDTL, EEM) in DRAM, HBM, or compute-adjacent product lines
  • Familiarity with Micron's product development processes, stage-gate frameworks, and cross-BU collaboration
  • Understanding of AI/ML hardware trends and their intersection with memory and compute products
  • Business operations or planning experience in a technology organization
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI solutions or AI assistants (e.g., Roo Code, Code Assist, Cloud Assist)
