Job summary

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Tysons to lead program governance, release strategy, and cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, UX, and Quality.

You will coach Scrum Masters, manage dependencies, and drive data-informed decision making at the program level. This hybrid role requires 7+ years in technical program management, deep Agile/Scrum knowledge, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program management or delivery management in software/SaaS.
• Governing cross-team dependencies and program-level release planning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, UX, and Quality.
• Strong analytical skills using delivery data to drive decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and portfolio/reporting tools; AI tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Drive program governance, forecast accuracy, and priority sequencing.
• Maintain current view of board-level initiatives with owners and dates in Jira.
• Track OKRs at the program level and escalate risks before quarter end.
• Own program release strategy, calendar, and resource planning.
• Lead quarterly program release reviews with Product, Engineering, and Quality.
• Coach Scrum Masters and clear cross-team blockers for release readiness.
• Deliver concise program status updates and risk summaries to leadership.
• Govern data integrity across Jira, Big Picture, Sigma, and related tools.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, and Quality to align strategy.
• Hire, onboard, and develop Scrum Masters; define career paths.
