Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a talented team delivering essential operational and mission support under a single award IDIQ contract. You will oversee systems engineering, systems integration, and operational support for a dispersed, multi-disciplinary group.

You will manage performance, schedule, and resources, while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and effective communications with government stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
  • 12 years of cumulative experience with at least 5 years in PM responsibilities for similarly sized projects.
  • 5+ years of direct experience supporting the client.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 4 years relevant experience may substitute for degree.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a large dispersed team with diverse specialties.
  • Experience providing timely reports, issuing resolutions, and meeting project timelines.
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks and transitions quickly.
  • Familiarity with customer processes, programs, and policies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, with ability to produce concise products.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with government-facing audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and information management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead all phases of a full lifecycle Engineering and Integration Task Order on a single award IDIQ vehicle.
  • Coordinate management of all work under the Task Order.
  • Serve as central point of contact with the Contracting Officer and technical representatives.
  • Oversee financials, cost, schedule, and technical performance of multiple projects.
  • Identify personnel to fill vacancies and coordinate subcontractors and team members.
  • Anticipate mission changes and adjust contracts accordingly; participate in change negotiations.
  • Work individually or with senior management on contract management and resource coordination.
  • Maintain accountability for deliverables' correctness, timeliness, and quality.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication to management and the customer.
  • Ensure contractor tasks are completed on time, accurately reported, and personnel are qualified.
  • Foster relationships with GTMs serviced by the contract.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a large, dispersed team with different specialties.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing timely reports, issuing resolutions, and demonstrated experience in meeting project timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and quickly transition across multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of the customer processes, programs, and policies
  • Expert representational, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government

Peraton is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our talented team of technical and business experts providing key operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission. The program is a single award IDIQ contract supporting the restricted customer. The scope of the work includes systems engineering, systems integration and support to operations.

What you\'ll do
  • Manage and lead all phases of a full lifecycle Engineering and Integration Task Order on a single award IDIQ vehicle.
  • Coordinate the management of all work performed under the Task Order.
  • Act as the central point of contact with the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative, other customer officials and the Contractor functional support.
  • Responsible for all the financials, cost, schedule and technical performance of multiple projects or major tasks.
  • Coordinate the identification of personnel to fill all vacancies on the contract and coordinates the efforts of subcontractors and team members.
  • Work with the customer and the team to anticipate and understand changes in the mission and how to adjust to those changes and participates in the negotiation of contract changes.
  • Work independently, or under the general direction of senior level company management, on all phases of performance including contract management, coordination of resource needs, coordination with corporate resources and management.
  • Maintains direct accountability for correctness, timeliness, and quality of deliverables for the effort.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels of management and the customer.
  • Accountable for Contractor tasks and ensures that tasks are completed within the deadline, are accurately reported to the customer, that contract personnel are qualified to perform the tasks, and potential personnel problems are resolved.
  • Responsible for fostering relationships with all GTMs that are serviced by the contract
