We seek an ambitious pacesetter to join our team as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in The Greater Salt Lake City / Park City area. You'll be a perfect fit if you have a passion for product development, excellent organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Create and maintain detailed project plans for the product development and hardware engineering teams. Document interdependencies and critical path milestones to meet aggressive timelines. Define task owners to ensure accountability. Create concise and clear project status reports for senior leadership review. Communicate to the appropriate stakeholders when additional resources are needed to keep the project on track. Understands risk mitigation strategy and how to implement it. Must be an expert in utilizing project management tools such as MS Project or similar tools. Will report to the Sr. Director, Electrical Engineering and regularly work with key stakeholders in a cross functional environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Technical Program Manager for fitness equipment development in the iFIT Corporate office.
  2. Create complex project schedules and detailed plans to provide realistic but achievable milestones.
  3. Utilize project planning tools such as MS Project or similar.
  4. Organize cross functional team meetings to ensure required communication is maintained.
  5. Act as a focal point and interface between key suppliers and engineering.
  6. Create status reports and communicate with management and senior leadership on critical projects.
  7. Is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  8. Understanding of the product development process in order to deliver a quality product on schedule and within cost targets.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development and customer support, to provide feedback and input on product design, performance optimization, and design for manufacturability and low cost.
  10. Participates in establishing goals and metrics to measure effectiveness from the design through the production process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Has in-depth experience in support for multiple products through an NPI process.
  2. Managing product cost estimates during development and to the supply chain.
  3. Fluent with computers, Google Docs, Excel, Arena, Slack, Atlassian etc.
  4. Experience preparing and reviewing BOMs, ECOs, tolerances, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
  5. Ability to travel overseas on an occasional basis to Asia. (10 to 15%)
  6. Experience in working with Asia-based suppliers and supply chains.
