Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a Staff Project Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead technical execution across software, FPGA, hardware, and systems programs. You will coordinate across software, hardware, and manufacturing teams, drive schedules, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.

You will review requirements, participate in design reviews, and guide teams through complex technical challenges, balancing execution with strategic program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering, technical leadership, project engineering, or technical program management experience.
• Strong technical understanding of software, FPGA, hardware, embedded systems, communications systems, or related technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and coordinating complex technical projects.
• Ability to evaluate technical estimates, architecture considerations, integration risks, and project dependencies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within structured product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for complex engineering projects and product development initiatives.
• Review customer requirements, specifications, and technical deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
• Coordinate activities across software, FPGA, hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive project schedules, technical milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Facilitate communication between engineering stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Identify technical gaps, integration challenges, and execution risks while developing mitigation plans.
• Monitor progress and ensure alignment between project objectives and engineering activities.
• Support technical planning, resource coordination, and project forecasting.
• Participate in design reviews and provide guidance on technical execution and delivery strategies.
