Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product ownership, technical business analysis, or related roles.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specs and user stories.
• Experience collaborating with analysts, leadership, and engineers to validate feasibility and make tech decisions.
• Familiarity with source-control/developer-collaboration platforms (e.g., GitHub) and research-collaboration tools (e.g., Overleaf).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and DevSecOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and priorities for a research-collaboration tooling initiative.
• Translate business and research needs into clear technical requirements and a roadmap.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineering and platform leads to align roadmaps with platform priorities.
• Evaluate feasibility and guide technology decisions with technical SMEs.
