Job summary

Zaddy Solutions seeks a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF and DSP, based in Austin. You will own strategy, roadmap, definition and lifecycle management of RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions, translating engineering insights into market-winning products.

The role blends hands-on engineering with product leadership, collaborating with engineering, sales, and customers, and influencing the portfolio from concept through launch; relocation and visa support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded tech markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital signal chain including RF front ends and FPGA processing.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Excellent communication with engineering, sales, customers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Experience transitioning from design to product management is a plus.
• Experience with rugged embedded/COTS defense/A&D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and technology trends.
• Translate complex system requirements into product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead product concept definition and support the NPI process from initial requirements through product launch.
• Evaluate competitive products, technologies, architectures, and relevant form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance, including revenue, cost, profitability, and investment priorities.
• Partner closely with engineering to define product requirements, technical differentiation, and development priorities.
• Work with sales, customers, and partners to understand market requirements and identify new opportunities.
• Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during complex discussions.
• Develop technical presentations, product collateral, training materials, and other product communications.
• Support secure customer engagements where required.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend product enhancements, investments, or lifecycle changes.
• Influence cross-functional teams and drive positive outcomes without direct authority.
• Communicate complex RF, DSP, FPGA, and embedded technologies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
