Job summary

QuEra Computing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager for the Quantum Control Platform in Boston.

You will operate at the intersection of hardware development and agile delivery, translating physics goals into concrete engineering requirements and owning the traceability from top-level goals to subsystem specs. You will lead cross-functional teams, define acceptance criteria, and drive governance of requirements across Jira/Confluence while collaborating with PhD-level scientists

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of experience in technical product management within deep-tech hardware environments.
• Strong fluency in translating physics goals into actionable engineering requirements.
• Deep fluency in Jira and Confluence; experience with Jama or Aha is a plus.
• Ability to engage PhD-level scientists and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate scientific intent into structured, executable requirements.
• Build traceable requirement hierarchies from physics goals to subsystem specs.
• Define acceptance criteria and validation plans at every level.
• Structure requirements for hardware and software teams and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Lead governance in Jira and Confluence and ensure auditability.
