QuEra Computing, Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for the Control System in Boston.

You will coordinate cross-functional development for the control system of next‑gen QPUs, bridging science and engineering to deliver real-time, high‑fidelity control with multiple hardware inputs and ML decoders. The ideal candidate will manage requirements hierarchies, interfaces, and testing procedures, while translating roadmaps into actionable tasks across theory, compiler, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field relevant to control systems or physics.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex hardware/software products.
• Ability to translate high-level roadmaps into actionable requirements and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical roadmaps into actionable plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, and risks.
• Build traceable requirement hierarchies from physics goals to subsystem specs.
• Define and manage interfaces between subsystems: compiler, sequence orchestrator, waveform generation, decoder, calibration.
• Define and track subsystem and integration test requirements with hardware-validated outputs.
• Contribute to test procedures to validate subsystem and integration requirements.
• Coordinate priorities across theory, compiler, software engineering, and other teams.
• Support translation of R&D output into product specifications and launch.
• Maintain clear communication of development status and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
