Job summary

QuEra Computing Inc. seeks a Technical Product Manager to coordinate a cross-functional program for the control system of next-gen QPUs.

You will align diverse technology teams, translate roadmaps into actionable requirements, and drive hardware-software interfaces end-to-end, including calibration routines and ML decoders. The ideal candidate will organize complex traceable requirements, lead testing strategies, and bridge science to product delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
Deep understanding of electronic instrumentation for control systems used in neutral atom quantum computing.
Strong communication across diverse scientific and engineering stakeholders.
Excellent organization and documentation skills.
Creative, initiative-driven problem solving on open-ended technical problems.

Responsibilities

Translate roadmaps into actionable plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, and risks.
Create traceable requirement hierarchies from physics goals to subsystem specs.
Define and manage interfaces between subsystems: compiler, sequence orchestrator, waveform generation, decoder, calibration.
Specify and manage testing requirements with hardware-validated outputs before QPU deployment.
Develop test procedures to verify subsystem and integration requirements.
Coordinate priorities across theory, compiler, software engineering teams.
Support translating R&D output into product specs and launches.
Communicate development status, risks and decisions to leadership and external stakeholders.
