Job summary

Motion Recruitment is assisting a growing AI-enabled technology company in Brooklyn to hire a Technical Product Manager – Software and Agents. You will own the agentic and core software layers, shaping how users define research goals and how AI agents plan and execute work in collaboration with engineers, ML researchers, and scientists.

This is a hands-on, full-time onsite role where you will set the roadmap for shared software, data, and infrastructure, decide what belongs in core capabilities,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in product management; AI agents or ML background preferred.
• Experience at technical or deep-technology companies.
• Ability to read code, build lightweight prototypes, reason about architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for shared software, data, and infrastructure supporting agents and experiments.
• Define core platform boundaries and decide what belongs in the core vs edges.
• Guide development of services and APIs for workflow orchestration and data access.
• Shape capture and versioning of research and simulation data for usability.
• Set reliability, performance, observability, and security expectations.
• Define agent capabilities, tools, and human-in-the-loop requirements.
• Design interfaces for researchers to set goals and trace results to data and models.
