Job summary

AARP is seeking a Technical Product Designer to translate complex product strategies into intuitive digital experiences. You’ll design end-to-end user journeys, create prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption.

Responsibilities include building design systems, testing with users, and turning requirements into actionable artifacts. This role requires strong UX, research, and communication skills within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in UX design, HCI, product design, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, product or digital experience design.
• Experience with end-to-end design, research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Experience with AI-enabled design tools to rapidly create and refine solutions.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar enterprise CMS/DXP.

Responsibilities

• Creates user-centered designs across the full experience lifecycle.
• Evolves design systems and guidelines for consistency and scalability.
• Builds interactive prototypes to test ideas and gather feedback.
• Translates product requirements and roadmaps into flows, wireframes, and UI.
• Uses data and user feedback to continuously improve the experience.
