Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services (AIS) seeks Engineering, Professional, Technical, and administrative support for DOE missions at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN and Pantex in Amarillo, TX. You will work under AIS, with day-to-day direction from Y-12 staff, while AIS handles pay, HR, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline is required or equivalent.
• Experience writing technical procedures in a commercial nuclear or weapons complex is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with DOE orders, standards and quality system requirements is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop new, revised, or modified technical procedures ensuring safe and correct execution.
• Comply with Y15-232, TPAT, and applicable procedural standards.
• Coordinate reviews and comment resolutions for procedures and administrative processes.
• Develop enterprise procedures applicable to Y-12 and Pantex as needed.
• Capture data on quality and performance and verify procedures through validation.
