Job summary

VALIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an experienced Software Architect to define requirements and drive high-level design for NYSoH-related IT systems. You will work with NYSoH program staff, vendors, and stakeholders to shape architecture and enforce technical standards.

Ideal candidate has 15+ years' experience, strong communication, and PMP certification; onsite engagement in New York with complex, multi-project oversight and executive-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience and high-level design decisions for large-scale software systems.
• Experience designing multi-leveled architectures and setting technical standards.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and PMP is preferable.
• Strong requirements gathering, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with ERP/healthcare IT projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex software in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Manage multiple projects with effective stakeholder communication.
• Deliver oral and written communications to owners, IT teams, and management.
• Analyze flow charts, processes, and technical specs for current and future IT systems.
• Provide regular status updates on risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Lead requirements meetings to define system functionality and operations.
• Coordinate resolution of design gaps with business and vendor staff.
