Job summary

Broadcom seeks a Principal IT Project Manager in the Mainframe Software Division to direct complex, cross-functional software migration programs. You will set governance, build schedules, manage budgets and risks, and deliver successful project outcomes with executive stakeholder alignment.

You will lead large teams, mentor staff, and drive process improvements across multiple Fortune 500 engagements, ensuring quality and on-time delivery in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• PMP Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• 12+ years of related project management experience; 1-3+ years in Mainframe software project management.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Direction & Leadership: Drive large-scale projects from inception to implementation.
