Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager - CSA to lead complex construction and capital projects in Charlotte, NC, from planning through closeout. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, design management, procurement, and construction execution while delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience on large, multi-stakeholder programs, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of value engineering and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in construction, engineering, or capital projects.
• Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, cost management, scheduling, and value engineering.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, AIA, or LEED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, procurement, construction, fit-out, and closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Drive value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Develop project management plans, budgets, fee proposals, and cost projections.
• Oversee permitting, entitlement, zoning, and regulatory approval processes.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide strategic recommendations throughout project execution.
• Monitor project performance, evaluate scope changes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead contract administration, negotiations, and claims resolution.
• Mentor and provide leadership to project management team members while effectively delegating responsibilities.
