Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Senior Technical Payroll Analyst II to optimize payroll processes across domestic and international teams. Experience with ADP Workforce Now/Manager, Workday, and API integrations is essential.

You will design reports in ADP, support SOX compliance, and coordinate with vendors on integrations and system upgrades, while applying multi-currency payroll knowledge and ensuring accurate, timely payments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12+ years total work experience.
• Hands-on with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Workforce Manager; strong HCM system integrations (e.g., Workday, Oracle, UKG).
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Proven API development and integration troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with global payroll operations, multi-currency processing, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical support for ADP Workforce Now and ADP Workforce Manager.
• Manage user access, security roles, and permissions within ADP Workforce Now.
• Document payroll processes, procedures, and change controls in line with SOX.
• Participate in change management including testing configurations and pre/post deployment audits.
• Design, create, and run ADP reports; analyze payroll data using SQL.
• Develop, test, and maintain integrations between ADP, Workday, and other systems; focus on APIs.
• Support end-to-end payroll operations for domestic and international employees.
• Participate in payroll module implementations, upgrades, and mergers/acquisitions.
• Collaborate with ADP and third-party vendors to manage service tickets and evaluate new systems.
