Genesis AI is seeking a communications leader to translate complex research and engineering progress into compelling external narratives. You will partner with founders, business and engineering teams to prepare milestone announcements, launch materials, and ecosystem updates.

Ideal candidates communicate technical details with clarity, support major launches, and operate with high ownership in a fast-paced, zero‑to‑one startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hardware, robotics, autonomy, aerospace, or similarly technical environment
• 0→1 startup experience building something from scratch in a high‑uncertainty setting
• Strong ability to communicate complex systems clearly without oversimplification
• Experience supporting major technical launches or public milestones
• Comfort working directly with engineers and research teams
• High ownership, autonomy, and bias for execution
• Strong judgment around credibility, confidentiality, and technical precision
• Ability to operate independently without structured playbooks
• Ideally: Experience at an autonomy, aerospace, robotics, or frontier hardware company
• Ideally: Experience communicating safety, reliability, and deployment readiness
• Ideally: Experience running technical demonstrations or field events

Responsibilities

• Translate research and engineering progress into clear external communication
• Partner closely with founders, business teams and engineers to prepare milestone announcements, launch materials, and ecosystem updates
• Build and maintain a coherent public narrative around Genesis’s
• Design and execute our presence at major AI, robotics, autonomy, and deep tech conferences
• Produce high-fidelity system demonstrations that accurately reflect real-world performance
• Run lab visits, partner briefings, and technical press sessions
• Create long-form technical explainers, talks, and written materials grounded in engineering accuracy
• Support recruiting by clearly articulating the company’s mission, roadmap, and standards
• Establish editorial and visual standards that reflect rigor and discipline
• Build the marketing function from zero and hire selectively as the company scales
• Operate hands‑on without layers of support or predefined processes
