Job summary

Halvik Corp seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead a full stack development team delivering web applications in a Microsoft environment. You will oversee technical performance, coordinate delivery, and drive integration of WCF services within enterprise architecture.

Requirements include 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in leadership, a Secret Clearance, and Security+ or higher. Prior Army contracting experience and Agile/Scrum familiarity are a plus.

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Manager provides technical leadership, delivery oversight, and day-to-day coordination for a full stack development team. The Senior Technical Manager shall be responsible for the web-based and web-related components of application.

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Performance: The Senior Technical Manager shall have, at a minimum, 5 years of experience in the following:
  • Managing web operations for a program or project similar to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity.
  • Internet application development within a Microsoft web environment using the following: Microsoft.NET applications, ASP, ASP.NET (3.5, 4.0, and later), Visual Basic, SQL Server (2008 and later editions), Visual Studio 2010, IIS, and current/other related applications.
  • Analyzing, isolating, and resolving program malfunctions in a Web environment.
  • Debugging programs and job streams being tested in various hardware/operating system environments.
  • Software environments and hardware configurations.
  • Using DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.
  • The design, development, and integration of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services within an enterprise architecture.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Experience:
  • 10+ years in software engineering or web application development
  • 5+ years in a technical leadership or architectural role
• Technical Proficiency: Microsoft.NET applications, ASP, ASP.NET (3.5, 4.0, and later), Visual Basic, SQL Server (2008 and later editions), Visual Studio 2010, IIS, and current/other related applications.
• Compliance:
  • Secret Clearance
  • Must meet Army requirements.
• Certifications: Security+ or higher

Preferred Expertise

• Demonstrated success in Army Contracting
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
