Job summary

Eastman in Kingsport, Tennessee seeks a Technical Leader for Specialty Plastics. You will act as the primary technical authority to drive technology adoption across extrusion and thermoforming applications in medical, consumer, food packaging, and construction markets.

You will build deep technical relationships with downstream customers, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing, and lead development and commercialization of new solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with extrusion and thermoforming processes.
• Experience with medical packaging and consumer goods packaging preferred.
• DOE, structured problem solving, root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead extrusion and thermoforming technology for packaging applications.
• Support global and regional business strategies through technical leadership.
• Develop customer relationships across value chain.
• Partner with commercial teams to differentiate offerings.
• Identify market trends and opportunities.
• Lead validation trials and translate findings into specs.
• Represent Eastman in customer visits and technical reviews.
• Deliver training and technical seminars.
