Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN, seeks a Technical Leader for Packaging to act as the technical authority across extrusion and thermoforming packaging applications, spanning medical, consumer, and food packaging. You will drive technology adoption, support commercialization, and deliver world-class technical service while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

BS with 15+ years of relevant industry experience; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience with extrusion & thermoforming processes and product commercialization.
Experience in medical packaging and consumer goods packaging applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technical leadership for extrusion and thermoforming applications in packaging markets.
Develop and maintain strong technical relationships across the value chain.
Collaborate with commercial teams to position Eastman's technologies and differentiate offerings.
Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to support growth.
Drive DOE, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to deliver scalable technical solutions.
