Job summary

VantagePoint Alliance LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Field Advisor to provide on-site technical oversight for a multi-unit outage and rebuild program of GE Frame 6B turbines and associated systems. The role enforces OEM standards, schedules, and safety requirements while guiding field teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Field Advisor or equivalent in turbine outages.
• Hands-on knowledge of turbine disassembly/reassembly and inspections.
• Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings and procedures.
• Willingness to work extended hours and rotational schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on field oversight for disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of GE Frame 6B turbines and generators.
• Act as primary technical advisor to site supervision, contractors, and client representatives.
• Enforce OEM and project standards, review inspection findings and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with electrical/I&C specialists and support commissioning/turnover activities.
