Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Principal Technical Director, National Security, for the Technology and Advanced Development group. Based in Long Beach, CA or Washington, DC, you will drive the technical vision for high-impact space technologies and lead multi-disciplinary teams across space and ground segments.

You will shepherd complex R&D programs from research through deployment, aligning with productization strategies and government contracting needs, with an emphasis on security,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
• Experience designing and deploying national security space systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy for Voyager's national security Advanced Programs portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end R&D programs (CRAD/IRAD) from concept to deployment.
• Architect system-level solutions bridging hardware, software, and mission software.
• Guide technologies from TRL 3–6 into productized, manufacturable solutions.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering organization.
• Support Growth, BD, and Capture to meet government contracts.
• Assist corporate development with due diligence and integration activities.
