Job summary

G-III Apparel Group in New York City is looking for a Senior Technical Designer experienced in Wovens (Outerwear, Suits, Jackets). This role requires managing the product lifecycle and ensuring design integrity through accurate fit sessions and collaboration with various teams.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of technical design experience and a college degree or equivalent. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year and an exciting work environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Technical Design experience, preferably with expertise in Wovens (Outerwear, Suits, Jackets).
• Proven expertise in apparel fitting, specs and patterns.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle from Showroom sample through pre-production fit approval.
• Oversee pre-production samples development to meet design specifications.
• Lead live fit sessions to evaluate and refine fit, construction, and quality.
