Job summary

FAM Brands is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead the technical design process from concept through final product, focusing on women's bottoms. You will develop tech packs, oversee fittings, and ensure standards for fit and quality across production in collaboration with designers, product developers, and factories.

Responsibilities include maintaining construction details and measurement charts, driving process improvements, and staying current with trends to enhance product performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technical Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical design experience in women's apparel, preferably with retail/wholesale brands.
• Proficiency in pattern making, garment construction, and grading; strong fit analysis skills.
• Experience with CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex) and Adobe Illustrator; PLM system expertise.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design process for women's bottoms from concept to final product.
• Develop and maintain tech packs with specifications, construction details, and measurement charts.
• Oversee fittings, make pattern corrections, and ensure brand fit and quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, product developers, and factories to produce production-ready samples.
• Establish quality standards for fabrics, trims, and construction techniques; drive process improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and new construction methods; document and report findings.
