Job summary

Nike Beaverton is seeking a Lead Technical Designer for Global Apparel to drive technical design across either Sportswear or Basketball lines. You will translate creative vision into technically sound, manufacturable products and lead documentation from concept through final production.

The role requires deep expertise in fit, patternmaking, grading, construction and manufacturing methods, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and office software. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant apparel technical design experience.
• Advanced expertise in fit, patternmaking, grading, construction and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and execution of complex men’s and/or women’s Nike apparel.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including product specifications and prototype notes.
• Establish fit and construction standards to improve quality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate design intent into manufacturable products.
