Job summary

BURLEBO in Austin seeks an experienced Senior Technical Designer focused on men’s and youth apparel, from athletic to outerwear. You will be the technical owner, guiding development from concept to production readiness, ensuring fit, materials, cost targets, and quality while mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with Design and Product Development, lead graded pattern creation, and drive scalable technical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tech Design, Patternmaking or equivalent.
• 8–12+ years of experience in men's apparel technical design.
• Advanced knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical development from concept through production handoff.
• Lead fit evaluations and drive improvements in fit and construction.
• Develop and manage graded patterns across Men’s and Youth size ranges.
• Review samples, specs, BOMs, and ensure production readiness.
• Collaborate with overseas partners to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Establish technical development processes and standards.
