Job summary

Trove Brands is seeking a Technical Development Manager to own the technical design and development infrastructure for bags and accessories, coordinating with Product Management, Design, Supply Chain, Quality, and overseas manufacturers.

You will lead the tech pack creation, construction specifications, and factory-ready documentation while driving collaboration across global teams and guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in soft goods technical design or product development for bags/accessories.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator for technical flat drawings and specs.
• Experience creating tech packs and construction specifications at commercial scale.
• Familiarity with Asian manufacturing partners and production oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and development infrastructure for bags and accessories from proto to pre-production.
• Define and maintain construction specs, tech packs, and technical standards translating briefs into factory-ready docs.
• Lead design-to-PD handoff ensuring design intent is preserved in manufacturable specs.
• Manage a master tech spec library covering construction standards, tolerances, hardware, and quality thresholds.
