The Role

The Sr. Technical Consultant, Expert Services is a key member of the customer engagement team, acting as a functional and technical expert. Your role involves consulting with customers and configuring the ServiceNow Platform products based on best practices to accelerate and drive customer business outcomes.

What you will do:
  • Create and deliver platform solutions considering long-term technical architecture, process design, and ServiceNow standards.
  • Support platform-wide process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis during workshops with stakeholders.
  • Advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to improve processes.
  • Lead design workshops across multiple ServiceNow products and capabilities.
  • Assist customers in documenting requirements and drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies.
  • Provide training and oversight to customers' future system administrators.
  • Lead technical project delivery and oversee partner development when needed.
  • Develop integration components such as SSO and LDAP.
  • Ensure quality in all customer-facing deliverables.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Support sales activities as required.
  • Mentor and train team members and partners.
  • Travel up to 50% annually based on customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • U.S. Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with ServiceNow Government Community Cloud in U.S. federal agencies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow security features including Vault, Edge Encryption, and Data Privacy.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Domain Separation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of configuration/development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals.
  • Ability to influence and consult in complex customer environments, providing options with risks and benefits.
  • Experience with data management and database concepts.
  • Knowledge of enterprise technologies such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
