Job summary

DraftKings is seeking a Senior Technical Compliance Analyst to strengthen technical compliance programs and guide audits, certifications, and evolving requirements. You’ll own domains, translate complex rules into scalable controls, and partner with engineering, security, legal, and internal audit teams.

You’ll craft evidence strategies, address gaps, and drive automation to improve governance and risk management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field plus 5+ years in technical compliance, IT audit or security compliance.
• Knowledge of SOC2, ISO27001, PCI DSS, SOX ITGC, NIST or similar standards.
• Experience leading or supporting audit readiness, evidence collection, control validation and external audits.
• Fluency across access management, change management, vulnerability management, logging/monitoring, incident response, cloud infra and Secure Dev.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into technical/operational controls; certifications like CISA/CISSP/CISM/CRISC are a plus.
• Writing scripts (e.g., Python) and using AI tools to automate evidence collection or workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical compliance domains across SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOX ITGC, NIST and related requirements.
• Lead audit and certification activities from planning to completion with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Legal, Privacy, Internal Audit and external auditors to address gaps.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, workflows and guidance for stakeholders.
• Develop evidence strategies to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Identify risks, track remediation, and drive issues to resolution.
• Create program health metrics and leadership-ready insights on compliance performance.
• Advance governance, risk, and compliance capabilities through tooling and automation.
