Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience handling claims or litigation exposure.
• JD preferred for in-house litigation experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills with insureds and underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle MPL claims including E&O to achieve fair resolutions.
• Assess coverage issues and issue coverage letters/documentation.
• Investigate claims timely and adjust reserves as needed.
• Pursue risk transfer opportunities and manage indemnity/insured issues.
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials when warranted.
