Senior Technical Business Analyst - Energy, Sustainability & Mobility

Position Overview

As Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will facilitate strategic conversations with business partners, elicit and analyze business requirements, and lead activities related to project requirements, business process adoption, data governance, and analytics. You will support our Energy and Mobility business units by enhancing systems, deploying new software, and connecting data across operational asset management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed project requirements through various communication methods.
• Select and implement software for Energy and Mobility Asset Management processes.
• Oversee vendor resources during project development to ensure timely execution.
• Define quarterly project objectives, epics, and user stories.
• Develop a deep understanding of business needs to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to technology program objectives.
• Analyze current and future business processes.
• Partner with teams to adopt technology solutions and improve data efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of business analyst experience.
• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred) and BI tools (Tableau/Sigma Computing preferred).
• Experience creating data models and structured project plans.
• Experience implementing Operational Asset Management software.
• Self-motivated with a focus on results, development, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Energy assets, Utility data, or IoT devices.
• Ability to articulate ROI and oversee offshore teams.
• Knowledge of system integrations, data modeling, and architecture.
• Experience in real estate or energy industries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Rally.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.

Compensation

Salary range: $98,000 – $140,000, dependent on location, experience, and qualifications. The total package includes bonuses and benefits.
