This is our top software engineer position within our Global IT organization. It offers the opportunity to leverage your extensive experience to make a significant impact on our company's success. As a senior technical problem-solver, you will leverage your technical expertise to build scalable software solutions that align with our growing business needs. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of software development, mentoring our development team, and advising IT leadership.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Architects, and Development team members on technical design and problem-solving to come up with compelling solutions to problems.
• Own all aspects of implementation for features from design to deployment, to support and maintenance.
• Quickly analyze complex problems and develop potential solutions, considering knowns and unknowns, to reach resolutions efficiently.
• Mentor and guide engineers at all levels.
• Define, evangelize, and mentor on best practices and coding standards.
• Review code from engineers of all levels.
• Contribute directly to the application code as part of the development team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Java (SE, Spring), Node.js, React, and microservices.
• Proven track record of building scalable systems and functionalities.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and clean coding principles.
• Hands-on experience with current open-source tools and technologies such as Java, Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, AspectJ, Messaging, Solr, and Lucene, Node.js.
• Motivation and flexibility to work hard and have fun in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance.

Compensation

• Base pay: $125,000 - $175,000.
• Salary ranges are indicative and depend on experience and location. Compensation may include bonuses or stock options.
