Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Senior Specialist for the Technical Applications Group (TAG). You will lead medium‑to high‑complexity projects, driving product development, process improvement, scale‑up, validation, and technology transfer while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on product development, formulation, and manufacturing experience across tablets, capsules, liquids, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of product development, technical and manufacturing processes, and food science principles.
• Experience leading medium-complexity technical projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with product scale-up, validation, and technology transfer.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP, SPSS and/or Minitab are a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~30% and work in alignment with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead product, process, and formulation development for innovation and optimization projects.
• Provide technical support for formulation improvements and process optimization.
• Lead scale-up, validation, and transfer of products to sites and partners.
• Conduct trials, risk assessments, and qualification activities for successful commercialization.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D teams.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and regulatory standards.
