FedEx is seeking a software engineer to develop high level design and detailed design deliverables, including architectures and interfaces for large projects. This role operates under limited supervision and contributes to complex system design.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in IT or engineering, with strong testing knowledge, problem solving, and communication skills. The role is hybrid and requires periodic on-site work at FedEx campuses.
Under limited supervision, develop high level design and detailed design deliverables including designs for technical architecture and system Interfaces to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal.
Requires five (5) or more years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge of software testing. Strong problem solving, human relations, and communication skills.
This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN., Plano, TX., and Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
Pay range: $6,511.62 - $10,744.16. Plano, TX. and Pittsburgh, PA. Pay range $6,854.33 - $11,309.65
