Job summary

Dexis Consulting Group in Washington, DC is seeking a highly experienced Technical Advisor Consultant to lead technical solution design and proposal narratives for U.S. government opportunities with the DOS PM Bureau.

You will refine client landscapes, contribute to solution architecture, and ensure proposal quality across pre-solicitation, capture, and bid phases. The ideal candidate has 5+ years working with or supporting DOS, exceptional federal writing skills, and a track record advising

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with or supporting DOS, with familiarity of the PM Bureau and Office of Security Assistance.
• Proven ability to lead technical writing for federal proposals.
• Experience advising capture or proposal teams targeting DOS contracts is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the technical approach and solution design for a U.S. government program related to international security, security assistance, military operations, and defense strategy.
• Provide strategic insight into PM Bureau priorities and decision-making processes.
• Advise Dexis leadership on client engagement strategies specific to security assistance.
• Refine technical proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with government priorities and terminology.
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for evaluation by technical and non-technical reviewers.
• Provide strategic insight into evolving trends and participate in strategy sessions through pre-solicitation, capture, and bid phases.
