Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking an Associate Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting in Richmond, VA for a 6-7 month hybrid engagement. You will research U.S. GAAP and SEC rules, prepare 10-K/10-Q disclosures, and draft audit-ready memoranda.

You will partner with finance, legal, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and strong governance. The role requires a CPA or progress toward CPA, 5+ years in public accounting or SEC reporting, and experience with Workiva or Oracle FCCS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• U.S. CPA strongly preferred or progress toward CPA.
• Experience with SOX/disclosure controls and financial reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for complex transactions.
• Prepare disclosures and footnotes for Forms 10-K and 10-Q; develop audit-ready memoranda.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and external auditors to assess accounting implications.
