Job summary

Terawatt Infrastructure in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager who will own complex accounting research and policy positions supporting our growing asset base and capital structure.

The ideal candidate has Big 4 audit or advisory background, holds an active CPA, and brings deep US GAAP knowledge with hands-on ASC 606, ASC 820, and ASC 946 experience in a growth company. This role reports to the VP, Controller and partners with Finance and Real Estate teams.

Qualifications

• Active CPA designation required.
• Big 4 audit or advisory experience required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on exposure to ASC 606, ASC 820, and ASC 946; debt/equity accounting and CIP/asset accounting preferred.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accounting research and author clear policy memos for complex transactions.
• Analyze accounting treatment for complex debt and equity instruments and new financing arrangements.
• Evaluate customer contracts and revenue arrangements (ASC 606) and assist with disclosures.
