Verizon is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee key sub-functions, drive strategy, and contribute to policy development. You will lead a diverse team, guide GAAP applications for complex issues, and interact with executives to deliver clear accounting solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Accounting/Finance, 10+ years of experience, a CPA license, and strong SEC/public company background. Hybrid work with a defined office schedule is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Ten+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience in public company accounting and SEC reporting.
• Experience interpreting/applying ASC 606 and SEC rules.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary accounting projects and policy development.
• Oversee accounting teams and mentor staff.
• Provide guidance on GAAP applications to complex issues.
• Discuss and resolve accounting issues with senior management and external auditors.
• Develop positions to address inquiries from FASB/SEC and external auditors.
