Job summary

GSP International in Princeton, NJ seeks a Senior Accountant of Technical Accounting to join our team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a focus on complex technical accounting issues under US GAAP.

The position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience; Big 4 background and CPA are preferred. You will provide guidance on revenue recognition, consolidations, and new accounting standards while collaborating with management and external auditors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Big 4 experience preferred; CPA preferred.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for complex areas including revenue recognition, business combinations, divestitures, lease accounting, and restructurings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet for business units under US GAAP.
• Assist in reviewing accounting and reporting for shared processes.
• Contribute to the implementation of new accounting standards across the company and divisions.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, coordinating with M&A and valuation partners, and record opening balance sheets.
• Draft responses to standard-setter proposals and other rulemaking bodies.
