The role collaborates with external auditors and cross-functional teams to translate technical conclusions into clear accounting outcomes.

You will prepare technical memoranda, analyze significant transactions, monitor new standards, and support SOX controls and disclosures across U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience.
• CPA certification required or actively pursuing certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS with ability to interpret accounting guidance.

Responsibilities

• Research complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS and develop conclusions.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda, white papers, position papers, and analyses for review by management.
• Analyze significant and non-routine transactions including tax equity, acquisitions/dispositions, debt, derivatives, revenue, leases, and OCOs.
• Review agreements to identify accounting implications and required documentation.
• Support implementation of approved technical accounting conclusions across entities.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assist with policy updates and communications.
• Prepare and review disclosures, schedules, and technical support for U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies, guidance, and templates for consistent reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and third-party firms; respond to questions and track items to resolution.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Treasury to gather facts and communicate conclusions.
• Support internal controls and SOX compliance related to technical accounting.
• Provide guidance to accounting teams and assist training on new standards.
• Manage projects with attention to deadlines and deliverable quality.
