Job summary

Clēnera, a leading solar and storage developer in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to research and document complex U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting matters.

You will prepare analyses, support significant transactions, and collaborate with external auditors to translate technical conclusions into clear reporting. This role requires a CPA, at least four years of progressive accounting experience, and the ability to synthesize complex contracts into concise guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience.
• CPA certification required; progressive accounting experience favored.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience including technical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Research complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS and draft well-supported conclusions.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and supporting analyses for review by leadership.
• Analyze significant and non-routine transactions, including debt, leases, and complex contracts.
• Review agreements for accounting and reporting implications and required documentation.
• Support implementation of accounting conclusions across entities and prepare disclosures.
