Job summary

BHE Renewables, headquartered in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Senior Technical Accountant to prepare consolidated and individual financial statements, forecasts, and analyses for multiple renewables projects. You will manage the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close, supporting audits and policy development.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in accounting with 6+ years' experience; MBA and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Six or more years of accounting experience with financial reporting emphasis.
• MBA and CPA preferred; GAAP knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated and individual financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Produce and analyze ten-year business plans and forecasts; support GL processing.
• Post, reconcile, and review journal entries; manage AP and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate year-end audits and assist in policy development and procedures.
• Consolidate BHE Renewables projects in Hyperion; maintain Oracle GL modules.
