Erickson Senior Living seeks a Senior Accountant – Technical to support complex accounting across a multi-entity structure, including consolidations, joint ventures and not-for-profit communities.

You will draft memos, research US GAAP, and contribute to financial reporting and audit deliverables while collaborating with the Director of Technical Accounting and other teams. A CPA or candidate is required.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or technical accounting and financial reporting roles
• Licensed CPA or a CPA candidate
• Demonstrated experience drafting technical accounting memoranda with authoritative accounting literature
• Experience researching and applying US GAAP using authoritative literature and common search platforms
• Working knowledge of ASC 606, 810, 842, 805, and 850
• Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with limited supervision
• Consolidation experience in a multi-entity environment with majority and minority interests; joint venture experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting external audits; senior living, healthcare, real estate, or hospitality experience preferred
• Advanced Excel; experience with large ERP and consolidation systems

Responsabilidades

• Research, analyze, and prepare technical accounting memoranda for complex and non-routine transactions
• Evaluate contracts and legal agreements for accounting implications
• Develop accounting position analyses and supporting schedules
• Prepare consolidation analyses and equity method schedules
• Draft annual and interim financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Coordinate external audit requests and prepare audit support schedules
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, financings, restructurings, and new venture activity
• Identify and document internal control considerations arising from complex transactions
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements including state filings
